The Sebright is a true bantam developed by Sir John Sebright in England in the 1800s. Sir John Sebright hoped to create a very small bantam with plumage similar to that of a laced Polish. After much breeding, the final result was the Sebright chicken. All Sebrights are laced, the silver is a silvery color and the golden is a golden bay color, both are laced with black.
